In general:
- For given px, py and m the budget line has axes intercepts at x=m/px and y=m/py.
- For given py and m a rising (falling) px shifts the x-axis intercept leftward (rightward).
- For given px and m a rising (falling) py shifts the y-axis intercept downward (upward).
- For given px and py a rising (falling) m parallel shifts the budget line further away from the origin (closer to the origin).
